Cheesy Potato Soup

Saute:
4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup onion
(optional: more onion, carrots, celery)

Add:
2 cups diced and cooked potatoes
1 cup diced ham

Mix in:
1/2 container sour cream
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
1-2 cups broth
